Final Piece
I have grouped these photos together and selected them as my final piece as I thought that these photos go well together. The photos are all taken of the same building - I have one photo of the whole building that I feel sets the scene, and then a simple photo of the interior underneath it which shows old boiler and the plants growing on the ground. I have 2 photos on the left that are more close up - a close up photo of the boiler, and then a photo of the broken roof and the vines that hang from it.
I feel that viewers are able to almost piece these photos together to create a mental image of what this building looks like as a whole - e.g. - in the photo of the roof, the pipe from the boiler is very visible, which allows viewers to see that this photo is connected to the one to the right of it.
Although (for the boiler (top left) photo) I liked the full length photo rather than the shorter/cropped photo, I'm going to use the cropped photo as I like the way it fits with the rest of the other photos as they're all consistent sizes, and fit in a pattern.

The photo in the top right was originally a little too over exposed, and was a generally a lot lighter than the other three photos. So I enhanced the shadows through the levels, then reduced the brightness and enhanced the contrast to also make parts of the photo darker and more defined. These edits enabled parts of the sky and shadows of the clouds to become visible.

The photo in the bottom right was also a little too bright/light, so I also darkened the photo using the levels. I then enhanced the contrast to enable more dark areas to stand out, such as the mud and dirt on the white bricks. Although the exposure/gamma correction adjustments did not change much, they still enhanced the photo.

The photo in then bottom left - I made the general photo darker with the levels in order to darken the shadows and make the darker areas and lines more visible. I then enhanced the vibrancy to make the picture more appealing, as it was originally too dull. The change in the brightness added to this, and the increase of contrast enabled the darker areas to be more defined and distinct from the lighter areas. I also cropped the photo to draw more attention to the important parts of the photo (pipe and vines).

I did not edit the top left photo.
